What clear whey is
A whey isolate you can see through.
Standard whey protein, even an isolate, makes an acidic drink cloudy and heavy. That is fine for a milkshake, but not for a drink that should look and taste like juice.
Clear WPI90 is an acid-stable whey protein isolate. In an acidic drink it dissolves to a transparent liquid, light in body and refreshing. Brands sell it as “clear whey” or “protein water”, in flavours such as peach iced tea, lemon, apple or mango.
It is still whey protein from cow’s milk, but a different grade from WPI90 Instant, so it is specified, quoted and allocated on its own line. The full specification comes on request.
Formulation note: clarity depends on the whole recipe, not only the protein. Acid, flavour, colour and sweetener all play a part, so we confirm the result with a sample in your recipe before you order in bulk.

How is Clear WPI90 different from WPI90 Instant?
Both are whey protein isolates. WPI90 Instant is made for milky shakes and turns an acidic drink cloudy; Clear WPI90 is acid-stable and stays clear. They are separate grades with their own specification and price. See the whey protein grade comparison.
What is the minimum order for clear whey in bulk?
300 kg, which is 20 bags of 15 kg, up to full truckloads. Larger regular volumes can be reserved from our monthly dairy allocation.
How do I get the specification and a sample?
Within 24 hours of your request we reply; after a short review of your project you receive the specification sheet and a sample offer.
Can you export clear whey, and is it available halal?
Yes. We ship to buyers outside the EU with the documents the importer needs, such as the Certificate of Analysis, specification sheet and certificate of origin. Halal-certified Clear WPI90 is available on request; tell us the destination when you ask.
What does clear whey cost?
